What does Malaysia look like through your eyes? In conjunction with Program MADANI Rakyat 2026 (Perak), the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) invites all Malaysians to take part in the Photography and Videography Competition: Lensa Rakyat, Ekspresi MADANI.
This is your chance to capture real moments, real people, and the true spirit of Malaysia through your own perspective.
Photography and Videography Competition: Lensa Rakyat, Ekspresi MADANI
1. Open to Everyone
The competition is open to all Malaysian citizens attending the Program MADANI Rakyat, Ipoh 2026 event, whether you are a professional or a beginner.
Participants can submit entries in:
Photography (Professional and Non-Professional)
Videography (Professional and Non-Professional)
Participation is completely free, and each participant may submit one entry per category.
2. MADANI Theme and What to Capture
The theme “Lensa Rakyat, Ekspresi MADANI” encourages you to capture meaningful, real-life moments during the event.
Focus on the atmosphere, human interactions, community spirit, and everyday scenes that reflect the essence of Malaysia MADANI.
All entries must be captured at Program MADANI Rakyat 2026 in Ipoh. Any content taken outside the event will be automatically disqualified.
3. Dates, Location and Prizes
Event Dates: 3 – 4 April 2026
Submission Deadline: 4 April 2026, 5:00 PM
Winners Announcement: 5 April 2026, 5:00 PM
Location: Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Persiaran Meru, Ipoh, Perak
Participants stand a chance to win total prizes of up to RM28,000.
4. Submission Requirements
Each entry must include a title and a short description of up to 50 words.
Format requirements are as follows:
Photography: Minimum resolution 1080p in JPEG or PNG format
Videography: Duration between 1 to 2 minutes in MP4 or MOV format
All submissions must be made through the official QR code before the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted.
5. Important Guidelines and Social Media Requirements
Basic editing is allowed, but excessive alterations are not permitted. All works must be original and created without the use of AI.
Participants are responsible for obtaining consent from subjects if required. All submitted works will become the property of the organisers and may be used for promotion and publication with credit given.
