The 65-year-old martial arts star, Jackie Chan is not only busy filming blockbuster movies, but he’s also busy creating superyacht too. The world’s favourite Kung Fu superstar from Hong Kong has collaborated with Chinese Shipyard JinLong to launch a spectacular 150-foot flagship superyacht (approximately 46.5 metres long).
The superyacht has been built since October 2017
Jackie commissioned the luxury superyacht project two years ago, back in October 2017. The whole project was taken place at Jinglong’s Huludao Yacht Industry Park facilities. The waiting period for the construction of superyacht is definitely worth it and is finally ready to meet the world.
The ultra-cool yacht was designed by a Dutch firm, Mulder Design
Mulder Design was tasked with designing the yacht’s interior and exterior. The all-aluminium yacht is stylishly featured monochromatic paintwork – an all-white body contrasting with a jet-black hull. The name JinLong is neatly inscribed on the front in striking gold in both Chinese and English.
The Dutch firm, Mulder Design had previously penned a few luxurious models for the likes of Sunrise, Baglietto, Heesen and Benetti with exceptional cool concepts.
Top-notch engine to cruise the sea
The superyacht has a powerful twin MTU 16V 2000 M84 diesel engine. It can go to a maximum speed of 21 knots. The yacht is capable of going a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles if cruising at a comfortable 12 knots.
Spacious lounge and standout deck
Let’s take a peek inside the luxurious superyacht. The superyacht incorporates an open-patio design for better air ventilation and to enjoy the natural light while cruising. The whole walls are covered with sleek wooden cladding accompanied with plus hazel carpet to bring out the elegant element. Furniture used is all in organic shape to give an upscale ’80 vibe.
Open floor living quarters
Walk further down the lounge and you’ll find huge living quarters incorporate the same design as in the lounge. It features sleek wooden wall cladding and flooring.
Stylish kitchen with an amazing view
The kitchen incorporates all-white design with a touch of aluminium for an urban touch. It includes a stylish cooker unit and an island bar. The cabinets are finished in a glossy white lacquer.
Elegant sundeck to sit and relax
The best part of the superyacht is definitely the sundeck. There is a spacious sundeck on the roof with a bar and dining area to let Jackie enjoys the sun with his whole family.
