2. Rainforest World Music Festival

Since its first showcase in 1998, the Rainforest World Music Festival has now become one of the most awaited musical fiestas that Sarawak proudly hosts each year. The annual three-day music festival celebrates the diversity of world music with daytime music workshops, cultural displays, craft displays, food stalls, and main-stage evening concerts. It is also a unique festival that brings together on the same stage renowned world musicians from all continents and indigenous musicians from the interiors of the mythical island of Borneo.
3. Patani Semasa

Working in partnership with MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Ilham Gallery is holding the Patani Semasa exhibition on contemporary art and culture from 25 March to 15 July. It focuses on the region of Patani on the eastern coast of the Thai peninsula that comprises the provinces of Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and parts of Songkhla. The exhibition explores the region’s past and present through artworks and cultural representations by 27 artists, including Ampannee Satoh, I-na Phuyuthanon, Jamilah Daud and Keeta Isran.

5. Carnival of the Animals by PJ Philharmonic Orchestra

The young talents of Petaling Jaya Philharmonic Orchestra (PJPO) will be showcasing their skills as a soloist, performing various works, including Joseph Haydn Symphony No. 45, Camille Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animalsand Max Bruch Kol Nidrei. Come and enjoy the splendour of a full live orchestra while supporting the community orchestra that is made up of dedicated musicians, serving as a platform for local artist to perform and gain experience.
